iGen Politics team Jill and Victor welcome back Russia and Vladimir Putin Expert Fiona Hill for a deep dive into US-Russian relations. What has changed during the transition from President Trump to President Biden? Are we destined to keep fighting the Cold War? Or can we get the world focused on peace and cooperation moving forward?

Fiona Hill is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institute and is hard at work on a new book due out in September, “There Is Nothing For You Here: Opportunity in An Age of Decline.” She previously served as Deputy Assistant to President Trump and Senior Director for European and Russian affairs on the National Security Council from 2017 to 2019. Earlier in her career, from 2006–2009, under Presidents Bush and Obama, she was an intelligence analyst for the National Intelligence Council. Fiona is also the co-author of “Mr. Putin: Operative in the Kremlin,” which gives her unique insight into the topic of this episode.
